The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Le Origini Riserva, vintage 2011 from the winery Bolla has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby red. Tones of dried fruit, plums and cherries on the nose, slightly balsamic, deep. Initially gripping and elegant on the palate with great freshness and balanced fruit, appears pithy, then becomes slightly harsh in the second part, still needs to grown-up.
