The prosecco Spumante Extra Dry Prosecco Treviso DOC from the winery Borga Since 1940 has been rated in 2019 by Gerhild Burkard, Benjamin Herzog with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Brilliant white gold. White flowers and acacia on the nose, as well as lots of lemon. The palate is balanced and fine, tightens with a small beaded mousse, juicy and fresh, shows good length and fun.
More about the tastingBright, flint white gold. Chamomile, hay, meadow herbs and sage on the nose. Also quite herbal-spicy on the palate, then also yellow-fruity, seems somewhat unbalanced between acidity, fruit and mousse, can and should still find its way.
