The red wine Collio Rosso Riserva DOC, vintage 2013 from the winery Borgo del Tiglio has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points.
Dense, bright ruby with a slightly lighter rim. Opens on the nose with emphatic savoury notes, of cardamom, bay leaf and coriander seed, then lots of blackberry and black cherry. Bright on the palate, compact, shows some juicy fruit, then opens up with hearty tannin, firm and gripping, and on the finish again emphatically savoury notes.
