The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Borratella has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Rich, deep dark ruby. Lots of dark berry fruit in the intense nose, but also clear wood savouriness. On the approach very dense, pithy tannin, on the finish unfortunately clear wood overhang and drying.
