Rich, intense ruby purple; very compact and intense nose with plenty of ripe cherry fruit, a hint of plums, fine chocolate notes in the background, mouth-watering; lots of fine, melting fruit on the palate, unfolds with grippy tannins, lots of ripe fruit, juicy, long finish.
