The red wine Resa 56 Barolo DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Brandini has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. Dense and fragrant nose, brings notes of leather and ripe plums, some peach in the background. Radiant on the palate, opens with lots of finely-meshed, multi-layered tannins, builds well, long finish.
