The red wine Sarmassa Barolo DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Brezza dal 1885 has been rated in 2014 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby colour with a pronounced garnet rim. Initially somewhat restrained on the nose, with a light flavour of cherry, dog rose and plum. Juicy and round on the palate, charming, vivid fruit, opens up with lots of fine tannins, sweet texture, very long and supple.
