Dark ruby red with subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose cloves and cinnamon powder, plus a fine touch of pepper, in the echo some dried raisins, rich black cherries and elegant use of wood. Polished and warm on the palate, with creamy flow and ripe fruit, a bit burnt on the finish but very good overall.
