It has a rich and dark ruby red colour. There is a delicate expression on the nose, with lovely berry fruit and an elegant savouriness. On the palate it has gentle sweet fruit, with grippy crisp tannins, plenty of fruit, and a juicy attack and finish. It lingers for a remarkably long time.
