The red wine Pinot Noir Reserve, vintage 2018 from the winery Burgundermacher Weingut Johann Gisperg has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Thermenregion in Austria.
It has a strong ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There are aromas of delicate meadow herbs, red berry fruit, a hint of cardamom, light caramel, and a tobacco touch, it is an attractive bouquet. It is juicy, firm, with good complexity, well-integrated tannins, a chocolaty touch, and a ripe cherry flavour. It has certain ageing potential.
