The red wine NV »100 Jahre Edition« from the winery Burkheimer Winzer am Kaiserstuhl has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose, aromas of ripe dark fruit, plum, sweet cherry, stewed blackberry, eucalyptus, and rum pot. The palate has plenty of tension and strength, fine acidity, fluid textural tannins, punchy and powerful, with very ripe red fruit, cherry compote, and plum with alcohol at the upper tolerance limit, good length, good with a hearty meal.
