The red wine Camarcanda Bolgheri Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Ca' Marcanda has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, rich ruby. Intense and appealing nose, very pronounced with lots of blueberries and dark currants, some blood orange and some liquorice in the background. Grippy, savoury tannins, a bit grippy at the core, lots of dark berry fruit, spreads out continuously on the palate, juicy and long finish.
