Bright, clear purple-garnet colour with a light rim. Scents of ripe cherries, gooseberry, some herbal savouriness, damp brick in the background. Draws a fine curve across the tongue, with fresh acidity, compact fruit, supple in texture, with a clear malty overhang, somewhat broad on the finish.
