Intense, dark ruby red. Very finely drawn on the nose, rich blackberry, wild berries, some smoke, then dried figs, slightly balsamic tone. Opens on the palate as if from a block, dense and juicy, spans an elegant dress, tightly woven tannin, firm drive on the finish.
