Dark ruby, firm core, discreet watery rim. Aromas of fine oak spice, ripe cherry in the background, delicate nougat, a hint of orange zest, a multi-faceted bouquet. On the palate substantial, tightly meshed, fruity, fine integrated tannins, pleasant acidity, cool style, mineral and long. It is an elegant food wine with certain ageing potential.
