The Red Wine Brunello di Montalcino La Casaccia DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Canalicchio di Sopra has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Toscana in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby with a wide garnet rim. Very appealing and intense nose, shows notes of blackberry, plum, some cherry jam and cinnamon. On the palate much fine material, glides almost silkily over the mouth, very polished, fine-meshed tannin, on the finish long with sweet texture.
