Clear, dark ruby with iridescent garnet rim. Compact, somewhat closed nose with notes of dark blackberries and cherries, fine nougat tone in the background. Blossoms on the palate great, dense, full-bodied tannin, embedded in fine fruit texture, salty and juicy, shows very young still, but has a long life ahead of it.
