The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Cantina del Redi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Medium-bodied, bright garnet red. Aromas of rich, ripe blueberry and raspberry compote on the nose, along with clove and cardamom, with a hint of thyme and cedar in the background. Spicy leather notes on the palate, tightly woven tannins, wiry, open-hearted, powerful, unfortunately dries out a little on the finish.
