The red wine Le Favorite Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery Cantina Gentili has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Luminous, deep ruby red in colour. On the nose, spicy notes with initially slightly stony hints, plus some underbrush and cranberries, with slightly medicinal notes in the background. The palate is compact and powerful, with rich tannins, unfortunately becoming a bit alcoholic and loosely knit on the finish.
