The red wine Chianti Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Leonardo da Vinci has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Some black cherry, dill, some savoury notes at the beginning and after air contact also savoury notes, plus a hint of wood patina, cocoa, nutty aromas. Soft on the palate, full-bodied with a tannin grain that increases in firmness over the course of the palate, restrained acidity, medium-bodied palate fruit. Should age a little longer.
