Strong ruby. Smokey, black-fruited nose, generous toasty aromas, notes of currant, sour cherry and dried herbs. Elegant, fresh attack, tasty tannin, crisp acidity, medium-bodied, nice toasty aromas, some dried fruit. Medium finish, a modern, light-bodied Merlot, complemented with Marselan and Carminoir.
