Strong ruby. Smokey, black-fruited nose, generous toasty aromas, notes of currant, sour cherry and dried herbs. Elegant, fresh attack, tasty tannin, crisp acidity, medium-bodied, nice toasty aromas, some dried fruit. Medium finish, a modern, light-bodied Merlot, complemented with Marselan and Carminoir.

Deep red; black-fruity bouquet, noble roasted aromas, notes of redcurrant, sour cherry, dried herbs, whey; elegant, fresh attack, tasty tannins, crisp acidity, medium-bodied, beautiful roasted aromas, some dried fruit; medium finish. Modern, light-footed Merlot, complemented by Marselan and Carminoir. Settemaggio is one of Ticino's rising stars.
