Bright ruby red with a delicately brightening rim. Black berries on the nose, barrel savouriness, a hint of black truffle, leather, light iodine notes, then rich cherry on the finish. Lots of juice on the palate, brittle, with beautiful freshness and tightly woven tannins, powerful and salty on the finish.
