The rosé wine Macchia Negroamaro Lizzano Rosato DOP, vintage 2023 from the winery Cantine Lizzano has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Negroamaro from the region Puglia in Italy.
Intense copper pink with an orange shimmer. Open-hearted on the nose, orange zest and thyme, also a hint of redcurrant. Opens on the palate with a fine fruit texture, green acidity and fine tannin, unfortunately seems a little set and washed out in the back, remains delicately bitter.
