This has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate ochre rim. There are aromas of dark berry fruit with a fine herbal savouriness, some nougat, and a hint of peppermint, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, round and powerful, with ripe cherry, subtle vanilla, and chocolate on the finish. It is a multi-faceted wine at the table.
