Bright, deep ruby, slightly brightening rim. Opens with notes of lilies, then lots of plum, also cabbage in the background. Hearty, gripping tannins at the start, dark plum fruit, then alternates between sweet woody notes and drying tannins on the finish, appears quite unbalanced.
