The red wine Duca Thaulero Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Casal Thaulero has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Abruzzo in Italy.
Deep, dark garnet red with a drop of black. Ripe wild strawberry and dried tomato on the nose, slight undertone of graphite and leather. Medium-bodied, gluggable on the palate, opens up with grippy tannins, unfortunately a little lingering on the finish.
