The red wine Orsetto Oro Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Casal Thaulero has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Montepulciano from the region Abruzzo in Italy.
A dark ruby core, with brightening on the rim. A spicy, animalistic bouquet with notes of overripe fruit, paprika, leather and mocha. Polished on the palate, with tightly woven tannins, savoury notes, full of fruit, but a little tiring on the finish.
