The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Etichetta Bianca DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Casanova di Neri has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright intense ruby with a slightly pale rim. Opens with slightly savoury notes, clarifies, then hazelnut, violet and cherry. Good density on the palate, showing pithy, firm tannins, nicely coated with sweet fruit, good drive on the finish, seems a bit raw overall.
