The red wine Brunello di Montalcino selezione Prime Donne DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Casato Prime Donne has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Very rich ruby red with a tendency to garnet. Multilayered with notes of leather, tobacco and chocolate, as well as blackberry and pepper, a "typical" Brunello nose. Sweet palate with elegant tannin and filigree fruit, spreads very wide and velvety, stays in the mouth forever.
