The red wine Barbera d'Asti DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Cascina Valle Asinari has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear ruby with a fine purple shimmer. Clearly defined nose, aromas of dried tomatoes, pomegranate and blood oranges, fine herbal savouriness in the background. Very good tension on the palate, fresh, well-integrated acidity gives verve, fine-meshed tannins, fine cherry fruit on the finish.
