The white wine Pinot Grigio Riserva Trentino DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Castel Firmian has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
An intense and brilliant golden yellow colour. On the nose there is a lovely spicy character, it is open-hearted, with a white rose blossom aroma, candied pineapple, a lemony note, some delicate smoke, and blood orange. It opens on the palate with a rich creaminess, unfolding excitingly, with a slight saltiness, and it has a delicate and balanced interplay. It is a consistent and harmonious wine right to the finish.
