The red wine Burgum Novum Lagrein Riserva Südtirol DOC 2022, vintage 2023 from the winery Castelfeder has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
A dark purple colour. Intense aromas, forest fruits, blackberries and blueberries on the nose, with notes of violets, dark cocoa and roasted flavours in the background. Very juicy on the palate, with body, gripping tannins, will benefit from further ageing.
