The red wine Pinot Nero Mazon, vintage 2019 from the winery Castelfeder has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Subtle woodsmoke, red cherry and more distant notes of Amarena characterise the nose of this pale wine. The palate immediately strikes with fine freshness and wonderfully pure, ripe but tart berry fruit. There is lovely aromatic depth, ripeness and freshness. Simply lovely and most evocative.
