The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Castellinuzza has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Canaiolo nero from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Shiny ruby with light garnet glints. Opens on the nose with green-spicy components, fine white pepper, much sour cherry. Grippy, hearty tannin on the palate, shows amazing fullness, but then seems quite rough on the finish, somewhat brittle.
More about the tastingBright ruby garnet. Fragrant nose of raspberries and cherry confit, some pomegranate. Very juicy on the palate, medium concentration, good drinking flow.
