Tasting from 03.11.2023: Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler

Powerful, bright ruby with a pronounced garnet edge. Finely marked nose with notes of juicy fresh cherry, plus blackberry, thyme and coffee grounds. Initially shows fresh cherry on the palate, opens with fine-mesh tannin, then smoky savoury notes on the back end, a bit rough on the finish.
