The franciacorta Satèn Brut Millesimato Franciacorta DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Castello Bonomi has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Brilliant, pale straw yellow with green reflections. Initially has strong aromas of smoke on the nose, even tending towards peaty, then ripe notes of nuts, some vanilla, also butter, very complex and headstrong. On the palate it has slightly iodised tones, compact, well-integrated mousse, but becomes bitter at the back.
