Rich, brilliant ruby colour with violet shimmer. Very open, inviting nose with lots of dark, ripe berry notes, especially blackberry and elderberry, with liquorice in the background. Extremely fine and elegant on the palate, flowing calmly, lots of fine-grained, polished tannins, profound and very persistent.
