The red wine Chianti Classico, vintage 2009 from the winery Castello di Cacchiano has been rated in 2014 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Chianti classico in Italy.
Sparkling ruby. Appealing fine nose, smells of ripe, freshly picked cherries, behind it some fine spices. Surprisingly sweet fruit on the palate, very good fullness, opens with great elegance, juicy and clear, very well integrated tannins, round and with a long finish, a nice surprise!
