The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello di Lucignano has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby. Hearty nose of sweet cherry, shows leather tones in the background, appealing. On the palate dense and rich, spreads across very nicely, gripping, tightly woven tannin carries the fruit through to a hearty finish.
