The red wine Chianto Classico DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Castello La Leccia has been rated in 2018 by Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Classically styled, with an elegant bouquet full of notes of dried cherries, wild berries, and some furniture polish and malt. Quite a cool sensation on the nose, and a pleasant fullness on the palate thanks to nicely integrated acidity and fine tannins. A slightly smoky-spicy finish.
