The red wine Rosso di Montalcino DOC, vintage 2023 from the winery Castello Tricerchi has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
A bright ruby red colour with a subtle brightening on the rim. A little wild on the nose at first, some sealing wax, more subdued with aeration, cherry and rosemary. Still quite youthful on the palate, a bold acidity, coarse tannins, a lingering finish, still needs more time.
