The red wine Vignolo Barolo Riserva DOCG, vintage 2007 from the winery Cavallotto has been rated in 2013 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby colour. Full-bodied and rich on the nose, opens with notes of blackberry, some leather, lots of ripe plum, some rum-steeped fruit, liquorice. Dense and full-bodied on the palate, continuously expands, also shows a lot of ripe plum, some liquorice, firm and gripping on the finish.
