The sparkling wine Mestres M Coquet Gran Reserva Especial Brut Nature Cava DO, vintage 2010 from the winery Cavas Mestres has been rated in 2019 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Catalunya in Spain.
It was disgorged in July 2016, and on the nose it has a green apple aroma, with yeasty and mineral undertones. On the palate it is delicate, and salty, with a very mellow mousse, almost mealy in its effect, and a trace of oak influence. It has a combined juiciness and charm, and it is a very high quality cava combining freshness with maturity.
