This has an aroma of dark berry on the nose, along with elderberry, black cherry, nuances of herbs and spices, and subtle animalistic notes. It is powerful and soft on the palate, again with distinctive dark fruit, a ripe rather restrained acidity, a beautiful texture, and still somewhat persistent but fine tannins. It lingers for a long time.
