The red wine Syrah AOC Valais, vintage 2016 from the winery Cave du Rhodan has been rated in 2018 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Salquenen - Salgesch in Switzerland.
Deep red colour. It has an open and fruity Syrah bouquet, with a peppery note, some plum, and a good intensity. On the palate a fresh soft attack, with firm tannins, a juicy acidity, and a cherry note with a medium finish. It is a successful, easy to drink, and very straightforward Syrah.
