Strong red with a lightened rim; initially very reductive on the nose, sulfur tones, but evaporates, then yeasty notes, rosehip, black bread bark, green peppers; dense, fresh attack on the palate, very lively, present acidity, pithy, slightly green, but grippy tannin; good length. A lively food companion full of character.
