The red wine 66 Sixty-six for friends, vintage 2019 from the winery Cave St. Philippe – Philippe Constantin has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Diolinoir from the region Valais in Switzerland.
Dark ruby with purple reflections. Intense nose with perfectly ripe, dark fruit with notes of cassis, elderberry and cherry. Also shows vegetal and savoury notes. Round and soft on the palate with beautiful acidity. Some tartness on the finish.
