Subtle wood, raspberry, cherry stone, marzipan. With air contact also more and more balsamic notes. Slightly viscous on the attack, fine-grained to sandy tannins, does not seem massive despite the powerful alcohol, but nuanced and complex. Mild acidity. Great length. You don't get subtleties like this in a glass at 15 percent by volume every day.
