The red wine Ceuso, vintage 2011 from the winery Ceuso has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Sicily in Italy.
Deep dark, impenetrable ruby purple. Playful nose with notes of cassis and dark chocolate, black pepper in the background, deep. Dense, powerful tannins on the palate as well as rich dark berry fruit, a lot of cassis, plus blackberry, still seems very youthful, fiery and long.
