Tasting Notes
Delicate salmon pink in colour with fine copper-coloured nuances, golden reflective hints and a super-fine mousse. An incredibly multi-faceted nose, with subtly smoky nuances of peat and candied orange zest, some Gute Luise pear, with hints of red berries, cocoa and roasted nuts. Taut and pithy on the palate, with a firm body, the texture is saline-crystalline and silky at the same time, with delicate red berry nuances, some raspberry and white apple fruit, followed by phenolic tannin notes and a hint of bitterness, persistent. A very emotive wine with enormous length and depth. (PM, 9/2024)
